A private school teacher was tied to a lamp post by her neighbors as she tried to run away from her home after killing her daughter.

30-year-old Swathi Sarkar of Bengaluru, India, was detained until police arrived and took her into custody.

A neighbor told police that they saw the mother holding her 9-year-old daughter who was bleeding, and she was walking to her home.

Neighbors asked Sarkar what happened to her daughter. She refused to answer. Instead, she replied that it was none of their business.

Moments later, they saw the mother on the balcony of her third floor apartment. Sarkar then threw her daughter off the balcony.

Neighbors rushed to help the child and took her to a hospital. Sadly, doctors were unable to save her, and the girl was pronounced dead.

Police believe that the girl was thrown down the balcony twice. During the first time, the girl suffered injuries.

However, after surviving the first fall, the evil mother threw her child off the balcony for a second time at 3:30 p.m.

The girl’s father Kanchan Sarkar, a senior business analyst with an IT firm, said that he lived near his office and he only went home once a month because his wife had anger issues.

He said that they often got into arguments and his wife would lose control.

During the interrogation, Swathi Sarkar told police that her daughter was autistic and that she planned to take her own life after killing the girl.
