A woman was arrested on a charge of battery after allegedly pouring nail polish remover into her stepdaughter’s bottle in an attempt to kill her, according to police in Illinois.

DuPage County police said that they have arrested 36-year-old Andrea Vazquez-Hernandez, after the father of the 1-year-girl realized that she spiked the child’s milk bottle.
