Security guard beaten to death because his brother was cooking smelly noodles

A security guard and three men were beaten during an argument about smelly noodles, according to police in Thailand.

Bangkok police said that they are investigating the death of 47-year-old Somchai Klinklom, after he was beaten by neighbors who objected to his brother’s cooking habits.

So far, no arrests have been made.

According to the police investigation, the incident began on Thursday, at around 12:00 p.m., in the Maneemas Housing Estate.

Klinklom’s brother was cooking noodles when his neighbors protested the smell.

An argument broke out, and the fight turned physical.

Later that day, when Klinklom came home from work, he comforted the neighbors who complained about the smelly noodles.

Another physical altercation broke out, during which Klinklom was beaten to death.

Klinklom worked as a security guard.

48-year-old Mantra Monthangern, 50-year-old Suchart Uttra, and 24-year-old Surasee Uttra, suffered injuries during the fight.

Police officers who responded to the scene, said that property was damaged as a result of the fight.
