(Scroll down for video) A family was left with a lot of questions after a teenager got into a freezer in a hotel in Illinois.

19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins went to a party that was held on the 9th floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont.

She left her home at about 11:30 on Friday night, and she went to the party with friends.

Hours later, her mother, Teresa Martin, received a call from her daughter’s friends, saying that they were unable to find Jenkins.

The mother quickly went to the hotel and searched for her daughter. Martin called police and asked officers to review surveillance videos.

The videos showed Jenkins stumbling down the stairs. She appeared to be very drunk and she was holding onto a wall for support.

The girl was seen walking towards the kitchen. Jenkins’ body was found inside the walk-in freezer.

There are conflicting reports of whether the cameras in the kitchen were broken and did not record the teen entering the freezer or if hotel staff chose not to release it.

Jenkins’ mother said that the freezer doors are too heavy to be opened by a drunk teenager who was barely able to hold herself up.

An autopsy was done, but the coroner said that it is pending “further study.”

As part of their investigation, police are reviewing Facebook photos and videos that were posted by people who attended the party.
