2 people shot while 2 brothers fought over jelly beans

(Scroll down for video) A man shot two people during an argument with his brother over jelly beans, according to police in Kansas.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 25-year-old Tyler Wayne Lyon of Wichita, after being accused of shooting his 23-year-old brother and a 36-year-old man.

Lyon has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated endangering a child and criminal possession of a firearm.

He was booked into jail, and his bail has been set at $50,000.

According to the police investigation, Lyon, his 24-year-old girlfriend and their 2-year-old child live in an apartment located 2200 block of South Oliver.

On Saturday, at around 9:00 p.m., Lyon and his 23-year-old brother began fighting over jelly beans in front of his child.

Lyon grabbed a gun and hit his brother in the face.

The weapon fired a shot, hitting the brother in the shoulder.

The 36-year-old man was hit in the leg.

Both victims were taken to a hospital, where they were treated and released.

Lyon fled from the scene before police arrived at the scene, but he was later arrested.
