(Scroll down for video) A woman uploaded a video to YouTube, showing her grandfather pushing a man off the roof of his home.

Police in Los Angeles, California, were called after a suspicious man was seen following a woman at 6:30 a.m.

When police arrived, the man climbed onto the roof of a home. Police tried to talk to the man, but he ignored them and climbed from one roof to the other.

The man finally stopped on the roof of a La Puente home in the 14000 block of Beckner Street.

Ashley Wrenn said that her family woke up to the suspect stomping on their roof. Police brought in crisis negotiators to help get him down.

After the nearly 5-hour ordeal, 83-year-old Wilford Burgess had enough.

According to Wrenn, her grandfather was fed up and told the man: “You need to get down and off my roof.”

Burgess asked his neighbor for a ladder and he walked onto the roof. He then confronted the suspect and pushed him off the one story home.

The man was not hurt. The man was taken to a hospital for psychological evaluation before being arrested.
