Former Russian mayor dresses man in Donald Trump mask and walks him like a dog to express opposition to U.S. president

(Scroll down for video) Many people in Russia, stopped to take videos of a bizarre scene, showing a man being walked on a leash by a well-known businessman and politician.

The shocking incident was carried out as a political stunt in the center of St. Petersburg, by Alexander Donskoy, who is the former mayor of Arkhangelsk.

Donskoy also expressed interest in running for president of Russia.

The politician walked on the streets of Nevsky Prospekt, with a man who was topless.

The man was wearing a mask that was supposed to depict U.S. President Donald Trump, a dog collar on a chain, and short jeans.

The man was crawling on all fours while Donskoy was holding the leash. Donskoy strolled along the streets as the masked man roared and barked at passers-by.

The former mayor explained his shocking stunt.

He said: “All those who are not our allies should be humiliated and embarrassed. Despite the hopes placed on him, he was unable to carry out his election promises and follow his principles,” Donskoi said.
