(Scroll down for video) A longtime educator who was named “Teacher of The Year” and was well-liked by many students, was busted trying to lure a boy for sex.

39-year-old Kenneth Brian Fischer of Westminster, Maryland, is accused of using an app to communicate with the boy.

He allegedly sent lewd photos of himself to the 14-year-old boy who lives in Virginia.

Fairfax County Police Major Crime Bureau, Child Exploitation Unit contacted Maryland State Police, to inform them of the conversations between Fischer and the child.

Unbeknown to Fischer, he was in contact with an undercover officer, who posed as a 14-year-old boy to catch pedophiles using the Internet to harm children.

Maryland State Police went to his home with a warrant, they confiscated his electronic devices and Fischer was arrested.

Fischer is facing four counts of solicitation of a minor. He is being detained at the Carroll County Detention Center, and is awaiting extradition to Virginia, pending a hearing.

Fischer was suspended without pay. Police are asking parents to speak with their children as they learned of more possible victims in Maryland and Virginia.
