A man traumatized teenage girls by following them and exposing himself, according to police in Louisiana.

The Alexandria Police Department (APD) said that on Saturday, at around 9:45 a.m., officers responded to a store in the 2000 block of North Mall Drive, in reference to a disturbance.

The officers were met by store security, who informed them that 40-year-old Robert Henry, had exposed himself to two 16-year-old girls.

The suspect and the girls remained at the scene for police.

The two girls informed the officers that Henry had been near them for several minutes, when they were shopping.

When the two briefly separated, Henry came close to one of the girls, exposing his genitals.

This caused her to scream, at which point the second girl came closer and also saw Henry exposing himself.

According to the store’s employees, Henry had been in the store since around 7:00 a.m.

When officers spoke with Henry, he exhibited signs of intoxication, and claimed he had only been in the store for around half an hour.

Henry also claimed he was at the store with a friend who was shopping, but he could not provide the friend’s name.

Henry was charged with obscenity.

He was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
