79-year-old man tries to kill hospital patient for making too much noise in their room

A man in Japan, who was hospitalized, became very frustrated when another patient in his room made too much noise.

After repeated failed attempts to get the patient to be quiet, the 79-year-old man decided to take matters into his own hands.

The elderly man attacked the 70-year-old victim after he was unable to sleep because the victim was making too much noise during the night.

Police in Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture, were called to the hospital after nurses were alerted to the crime.

Police have arrested the 79-year-old man on a charge of attempted murder after he viciously attacked the 70-year-old patient.

According to police, the suspect has admitted to slamming the victim’s head into the bed rail because he would not stop making noise and disturbed his sleep.

Police said the victim suffered a concussion and is in critical condition.

In addition to the suspect and the victim, there was another patient in the room at the time of the incident, but he was asleep at the time and told police that he heard nothing.
