Police are looking for a man who assaulted an employee of a gas station because he would not accept food stamps for a non-food item, according to police in Ohio.

Dayton police said that the gas station customer is facing a charge of assault for throwing a slushy in the employee’s face.

The incident unfolded on Saturday, at the Speedway gas station, which is located next to the University of Dayton.

The 20-year-old customer, who was not identified, wanted to purchase food items along with gasoline for his car.

When the customer presented his food stamps card, the employee notified him that he could not pay for the fuel with the card.

The customer became angry and threw a blue slushy at the employee’s face.

The customer then fled from the store.

The incident was recorded by the gas station surveillance cameras.

The employee called police and handed over the video evidence to officers.

So far, no arrests have been made.
