(Scroll down for video) A police officer was arrested and two of his colleagues were suspended over the sexual abuse of a child.

According to police in Florida, 22-year-old Chad Robert Corriveau of Groveland, was arrested for sexually abusing an underage girl.

Corriveau’s wife, who is also an officer, is accused of concealing the crime. She allegedly learned about the abuse, but she did not report it to authorities as required by law.

She was placed on leave.

Another officer, who knew about the crime for several weeks, did not immediately report it. He too was placed on leave.

The girl told detectives at the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, that Corriveau showed her pornography on her cell phone, during the Thanksgiving break.

Later, around Christmas, he complained about his sex life and asked about her experiences. Corriveau fondled the girl, who claimed she was afraid to resist due to Corriveau’s temper.

Corriveau then strapped the girl into a sex swing and abused her with an adult toy, according to a police complaint.
