Sleeping man got woken up by police who informed him he killed a man

A man in China, was surprised to get a visit from police early in the morning.

To his shock, the man was informed that he was being investigated in connection with the death of man who was found lying on side of the road.

Police told 41-year-old Huang, that he was the suspect in an hit-and-run accident.

Huang admitted that he was driving home in his van late at night in Wencheng Zhejiang, when he hit a vehicle that was parked on the side of the road.

Huang told police that the van he hit appeared to be empty and that he did not see anyone inside or around at the time.

Police confirmed that the van was empty, but they informed Huang that the driver, Du, 53, was changing a tire on his vehicle when the accident happened.

Since it was dark outside and there was no warning signs to alert drivers to Du’s presence, Huang did not realize that he hit the victim. Du died immediately following the crash.

A passerby who found the man, called police. Huang was arrested and questioned by police.
