(Scroll down for video) Police were called to a hospital in Colorado, after nurses were accused of opening a body bag to see a man’s genitals.

Denver Health Medical Center spokesman Josh Rasmussen said that a nurse heard her colleagues talking about the incident and she reported it to a supervisor.

The Denver Police Department investigated the matter, but ultimately found that no crime has been committed.

According to the police report, hospital staff members first admired the victim’s genitals while he was alive and being treated at the hospital. The man was incapacitated at the time.

Once the man died and was placed in a body bag, the 5 staff members got together and opened the body bag to gawk at his genitals.

The Denver Medical Center did not fire the workers. Instead, they were suspended for three weeks. After that period, they were allowed to return to work. Four nurses returned, but one decided not to do so.

Rasmussen said that the nurses will have a record of the discipline that is considered “serious” placed in their personnel files.
