A woman filed a lawsuit against The Home Depot Inc., after accusing them of negligence for failing to make sure that their stores are rodent free, according to court documents in New Jersey.

58-year-old Annette Reaves of Hackensack, told the Bergen County Superior Court, that she still suffers nightmares following an attack from a mouse at one of the Home Depot stores.

Reaves is seeking money for damages.

Reaves was delivering items to the Home Depot located on Hackensack Avenue, when a mouse jumped on her.

The mouse scratched her face and bit her neck.

Reaves was taken to the Hackensack University Medical Center, where she was treated by neurologists for severe and permanent injuries.

Reaves claims that the attack was the result of Home Depot’s negligence of failing to clean up their store.

Reaves said that she still constantly grabs her neck out of fear that a mouse is attacking her.

She also suffers from nightmares about mice attacking her, and checks her food to make sure there are no rodents on her plates.
