15-year-old girl recruited 19-year-old boyfriend and another man to kill father who disapproved of her relationship

(Scroll down for video) A teenage girl will be charged as an adult in the murder of her father.

15-year-old Ellen Friar of Oregon, is accused of being the mastermind behind the murder of her father.

A friend said that the teenager was in a relationship with 19-year-old Gavin MacFarlane.

At first, her parents did not have a problem with the relationship and they liked him. However, when they learned that he was 19-years-old, her parents were not happy.

This caused tension between Ellen and her parents, who allegedly wanted her to break up with him.

Instead of doing so, the teenager recruited MacFarlane and 22-year-old Russell Jones, to kill her father, 50-year-old Aaron Friar.

Medford police said that they believe the father was killed by the men and the girl with a weapon while he was sleeping.
