(Scroll down for video) Two teachers were placed behind bars after being accused of watching a video, which showed several boys raping a girl, and failing to report the incident to police, according to police Louisiana.

The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 32-year-old Nicole Kusmirek and 27-year-old Shayla Shane, after the 13-year-old girl was raped in the school’s bathroom.

Both teachers have been charged with possessing child pornography and failure to report child abuse.

Shane has also been charged with obstruction of justice.

Bail for Kusmirek was set at $2,500 while Shane was ordered to post $5,000.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded at the Success Preparatory Academy, which is located at 2011 Bienville Street.

The girl told police that she entered the boys bathroom after being invited inside by a student.

When she noticed that there were more boys in the restroom, she tried to flee, but she was retrained.

She was then forced to perform sex acts on the boys.

At least four boys were in the restroom.

Videos of the attack were uploaded on Instagram.

At some point, Kusmirek and Shane saw one of the videos on a cell phone.

Police claim that the teachers failed to notify the authorities immediately as they are required by law.

One teacher emailed the video to herself and texted it to another teacher.

The school leadership defended the teachers, saying that they did what was required and appropriate.

They do not understand why police decided to charge the teachers with crimes.
