According to the police investigation, Johnson was an Air Force veteran and a married father of one child.

On Sunday, at around 2:00 a.m., Johnson and his wife were out on the street in celebration of their friend’s birthday.

While the couple was on the 200 block of East Sixth Street, a man grabbed a slice of pizza from another man’s hand.
