A man is Pennsylvania, was arrested after carjacking two vehicles and crashing both of them.

Officers from the Southern Regional Police Department were called to the Glen Rock Mill Inn on reports that a vehicle crashed into a building.

Officers were informed that the crashed car matched a description of a vehicle that was carjacked earlier.

While officers responded, the driver exited the vehicle and started to leave the scene. He was then seen getting into another vehicle and a witness took a picture of it.

Responding officers observed the suspect’s vehicle run a stop sign in front of them.

Officers pursued the vehicle through the borough of Glen Rock and into Codorus Township, where it crashed on Fair School Rd.

The driver exited the vehicle and was taken into custody. He was identified as 31-year-old Roy Shane Worrall.

Worrall, who was on drugs, was then transported to York Hospital for treatment.

As officers were investigating the pursuit and crash, a man approached them and stated that the vehicle used by the suspect belonged to him.

Police discovered that after Worrall crashed the first stolen car, he got into the passenger seat of a second vehicle, pushed something into the man’s ribs, stated that he had a gun and ordered the victim to drive.

Worrall also demanded the victim’s cell phone and cash as they were driving.

After driving about three-quarters of a mile, Worrall ordered the driver to exit the vehicle.

Worrall got into the driver’s seat and sped off, leading police on a chase. Soon thereafter, he crashed the second car.

A passerby picked up the victim and drove him to the crash location. Worrall was checked out at the hospital before being arrested.

Worrall has been charged with robbery, kidnapping, theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving under the influence of drugs, accidents involving attended vehicle or property, reckless driving, careless driving, duties at stop signs, and driving while suspended.

Bail was set at $100,000.

Police discovered that Worrall had an active warrant for Burglary from Northern York County Regional Police along with three other traffic warrants.
