(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested when he arrived at a children's park, where he arranged to meet a 12-year-old boy for sex.

52-year-old David Cox of England, met the boy named Max on the gay dating app Grindr.

The two exchanged sexually explicit messages before setting up a time to meet in the park while the boy's parents were away.

When he arrived at Wednesfield Park in Wolverhampton, Cox was confronted by pedophile hunters, who were the ones who had set up Cox by pretending to be the 12-year-old boy.

The pedophile hunters recorded their interaction with Cox as they met in the park and uploaded the video to the Internet.

Cox confessed to his crime, but defended himself that "age was just a number."

Police were called to the park and Cox was arrested.

According to police, he was found in possession of the sex-enhancing drug Viagra, alcohol and lubricant, but no condoms despite the fact that he is HIV positive.

At Shrewsbury Crown Court, Cox pleaded guilty to attempting to meet a child for sex following grooming.

He was sentenced to two years and three months in prison.
