A family was shocked when police released a photo of their relative and asked the public for help in locating him.

Detective Senior Constable Rulan Carr of Perth, Australia, announced that they want to talk to 15-year-old Clive Sydney Hart in connection with the rape of an elderly woman.

He described the teenager as being approximately 4 feet and 9 inches tall with a slim build, olive complexion, with brown hair and brown eyes.

It did not take long for people to give police tips over his whereabouts and Hart was arrested.

The family said that Hart was in and out of jail for burglaries after he was seen on people’s home surveillance cameras stealing things.

However, according to his uncle and cousin, Hart is a quiet person who was never violent.

This allegedly changed when Hart broke into the home of an 84-year-old grandmother at 5:15 a.m., while she was sleeping.

He pinned her down and raped her.

The woman was badly injured and was left traumatized over the attack that occurred in her own bed.

The woman was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital, where she was treated and was released the next day.

Detectives collected forensic evidence from the woman’s home, which they said included the boy’s DNA.

Hart is facing 7 counts that include aggravated sexual penetration without consent, aggravated indecent assault and stealing.
