(Scroll down for video) Two young girls were rescued from a sex trafficker after they were sold for sex by a family friend.

The FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) in Colorado, said in a press release that they have rescued the two children, and they have been placed in a safe environment.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation along with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) went undercover to rescue the children who were being sold for sex.

Authorities made contact with those who posted ads online looking for people who want to have sex with minors.

Sadly, in just 4 days of Operation Cross Country XI, police arrested 120 traffickers and they rescued 84 minors.

The youngest victim was just 3 months old, authorities said.

The FBI in Denver said that they rescued two sisters, one just 3-months-old and the second child is 5-years-old.

The suspect, who was a friend of the children’s family, offered an undercover officer access to the two children for sexual purposes in exchange for $600. The trafficker was arrested.

Police said that not only are people willing to sell the children for sex for financial gain but shockingly, there are many who are willing to pay a lot of money to have sex with children.
