HIV positive teacher’s aide sexually assaulted 40 students because he wanted to make them sick

(Scroll down for video) An HIV positive man took jobs at schools, where he sexually assaulted children in order to make them sick, according to police in Maryland.

The Maryland State Police said that they have arrested 30-year-old Carlos Deangelo Bell after being accused of sexually assaulting more than 40 students.

A Grand Jury for Charles County returned a 206 count indictment for Bell of Waldorf.

This third indictment against Bell includes the previous allegations found in two prior indictments as well as charges for additional victims uncovered during the ongoing investigation.

The 206 count indictment covers 28 identified alleged victims and 14 unidentified alleged victims.

The time frame of the alleged criminal conduct spans approximately 2 years.

The ages of the alleged victims at the time the offenses were committed range from 11 years old to 17 years old.

If he is convicted of certain crimes alleged in the indictment, prosecutors will be seeking a life sentence.

Bell is still being held without bond.

At this time, officials are not aware of any alleged victim having tested positive for HIV.

Bell worked as a teacher’s aide and a track coach at several schools.

Bell had sex with many students and recorded his attacks on his cell phone.

He assaulted students at the Benjamin Stoddert Middle School, La Plata High School, J.P. Ryon and William B. Wade elementary schools in Waldorf, and Benjamin Stoddert Middle School in Temple Hills.

The sexual abuse came to light after a mother found inappropriate text messages from Bell on her daughter’s cell phone.

Police seized computers and electronic devices from Bell’s home on which they found child pornography,

Bell is facing 22 counts of sexual abuse of a minor, 19 counts of second-degree sex offense, 7 counts of third-degree sex offense, and 97 counts of child pornography.
