A married father of the United Kingdom, was jailed after he groomed a teenager before forcefully performing sex acts on the boy.

47-year-old Simon Pain was a well-respected businessman, farmer and deputy county chairman of the Gloucestershire branch of the NFU before he was jailed.

The Gloucester Crown Court heard that the father of two children knew the 15-year-old victim who came to his farm because he loved horses.

When the father learned that the boy was gay, he admitted that he was gay too.

“The defendant confided in the boy that he thought he himself was gay and he preferred younger people,” the court heard.

Pain bought the teen many gifts before forcing himself on him while giving him a ride home.

According to prosecutors, several days after the first incident, Pain took the boy to London.

“He had booked a room at the Hilton hotel in Hyde Park and was pretending to the staff there that the boy was his son,” prosecutors said.

After returning to the hotel room from sightseeing and shopping, Pain pinned the boy to the bed and forcefully performed a sex act on him.

Judge Jamie Tabor QC sentenced Pain to 14 months in prison. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
