In a shocking case, three people of the United Kingdom, were arrested over the rape of church members.

Police arrested the pastor, his wife and an assistant pastor of the Liberty Pentecostal Church in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

70-year-old Rev. John Wilson was found guilty of committing sex crimes against female members of the church.

He was accused of performing “grotesque” exorcisms and deliverance sessions on a woman while his assistants held the victim down or blocked the door so nobody can come inside.

The jury also heard that 59-year-old assistant pastor Laurence Peterson helped the pastor rape 6 women.

According to court documents, he may have drugged the women’s tea to make them more obedient.

Peterson was convicted on charges of conspiracy to commit indecent assault and aiding and abetting Wilson to commit sex acts.

He was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in prison.

Rev Wilson was found guilty of indecent assault charges. He was sentenced to 21 years in prison.
