Milton police said that they have arrested 57-year-old Timothy Stuart Taylor after being accused of being under the influence while driving the police car.

In court, Taylor pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and driving under the influence.

Judge David Rimmer sentenced Taylor to serve two years probation.

According to the police investigation, Taylor had marital problems, which eventually led to a divorce.

One morning, Taylor called the police department to say that he won’t be coming into work because he took Xanax.

Taylor then used his police cruiser to drive to his wife’s house.

When Taylor saw his wife at the doorway, he stabbed himself in the chest and accelerated towards the house.

Taylor’s wife jumped out of the way at the last minute.

Taylor slammed into the home, causing $30,000 in damages.

The entire incident was recorded on the police officer’s dash cam.

Taylor is no longer a police officer.
