A prison inmate suffered permanent injuries after swallowing a pill, which caused him to suffer an erection that lasted for nearly 4 days, according to police documents in Oklahoma.

32-year-old Dustin Lance of Wilburton was locked up at the Pittsburg County Jail when a fellow inmate provided him with a pill.

Lance swallowed the pill, which he assumed was a drug.

However, Lance got an erection that just continued unabated.

Lance mustered up the courage to complain about his condition, but prison guards laughed at him and did nothing to help treat his condition.

Finally, after 4 days, Lance was taken to the McAlester Regional Hospital, where he was seen by a doctor, who diagnosed him with Priapism, a condition that causes a permanent erection.

As a result of the delayed treatment, Lance suffered a permanent injury.

Lance is seeking $5 million, claiming that his civil rights were violated by not providing him with immediate medical treatment.

Lance was in jail after being charged with burglary and possession of controlled dangerous substances.
