Robber bites off wedding guest’s finger at reception after trying to steal handbags

A man raided a wedding reception, where he tried to steal women’s handbags, according to police in Australia.

Sydney police said that they have arrested the 42-year-old man, who was not identified, after being accused of biting off the finger of a 47-year-old wedding guest.

The suspect has been charged with causing reckless grievous bodily harm.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Sunday night, at the Court Tavern.

The suspect came into the pub during a wedding reception and attempted to steal handbags from women.

The suspect was caught and was confronted by about 50 wedding guests.

During the confrontation, the suspect bit off the finger of a 47-year-old wedding guest.

The victim was rushed to the Liverpool Hospital, but doctors were unable to save the man’s finger.

Police said that they were called back to the pub later that night to break up another fight.

The daughter of the man who lost his finger was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer.
