Police did not have a hard time tracking down a young thief after he took selfies and used his own information to place an order on Amazon.

Police were called by a pizza delivery driver in Florida after items were stolen from her car.

The woman told police that an iPhone and makeup were stolen from her vehicle while she was delivering pizza around 2:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Place Hotel in Fort Myers.

The woman’s personal and work phone were synchronized and it did not take long for her to receive selfies from her stolen phone.

One of the selfies showed the suspect holding a gun. Police said that the gun had been reported stolen earlier.

Officer spotted the suspect, 14-year-old Anthony Stokes, who tossed the gun and fled when he saw them.

Officers recovered the weapon. Police said that while they were looking for Stokes, he placed an order with Amazon and he used his information in the purchase. This made it easier for police to locate and arrest him.

Stokes was arrested for grand theft, possession of a firearm by a minor, and loitering and prowling.
