(Scroll down for video) A teenager went on a violent crime spree just three days after he was freed from jail.

The teen’s mother and stepfather claim he is not a killer or rapist, but that he has a mental illness, but police disagree.

Deonte James Green from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was arrested and charged with 17 counts, including first-degree murder, rape, kidnapping, and robbery.

He remains jailed in Tulsa County, where he was charged as an adult.

According to the arrest report, Green went to the home of an elderly couple, where he demanded money and forced them to drive to an ATM and withdraw cash.

He then forced the couple to return home, where he raped the 81-year-old woman.

When he was done, Green went to a nearby house, where a woman and her two daughters were in the garage and preparing to leave.

Police said that Green forced the woman and children to return to the house. Once inside, he was confronted by the woman’s
44-year-old husband Shane Anderson.

Green pulled out his gun and shot the father to death in front of his children.

Anderson was a geography professor at the Broken Arrow Public Schools.

Green has previously been jailed for committing burglaries.
