A young boy has died as a result of drowning after falling into an underground water tank at a park, according to police in Florida.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that they received a call on Sunday, at around 4:30 p.m., that 3-year-old Amari Harley went missing during a birthday party at the Bruce Park.
Police launched a massive search for the boy but he could not be found and nobody saw the child.
At around 7:30 p.m., police called the Public Works after finding an underground water tank in the park located at 6549 Arlington Road.
The water tank was opened and drained, and the body of Harley was found inside.

Police said that they decided to drain the water tank after getting a tip from an unidentified source.
The boy’s mother, 25-year-old Jasmine Bates, said that she is confused, lost, and hurt.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office wrote: “We are heartbroken to notify you that the deceased body of Amari Harley has been located.”
