A man took advantage of a young girl and manipulated her for his own sexual gratification, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Bradford police said that they have arrested 40-year-old Andrew Hollingworth after being accused of raping the girl over a period of three years.

Hollingworth was found guilty of raping a child under 13, 2 counts of rape, and 2 counts of sexual assault at the Bradford Crown Court.

Judge David Hatton QC sentenced Hollingworth to serve 15 years in prison.

He was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life.

According to the police investigation, Hollingworth began sexually abusing the girl when she was just 12-years-old.

Hollingworth encouraged her to drink a large amount of alcohol, and when she became intoxicated, he raped her.

Hollingworth then taunted the victim that nobody would believe her if she told anyone about the abuse because she was a known liar.

Hollingworth raped the girl on at least 5 separate occasions.

The court heard how Hollingworth physically and emotionally abused the girl.

He pulled her hair and made her feel worthless.

Hollingworth also loved to see the girl cry for his sexual gratification.

The girl told police that she lost a lot of weight and hates looking in the mirror as a result of the abuse.
