An elderly driver kept a bag of stones in his vehicle in order to damage other cars on the road, according to police in Singapore.
Central police said that they have arrested the 61-year-old man, who was not identified, after being accused of throwing stones at vehicles shattering the windscreens of at least two parked cars.
He was charged with endangering the life or personal safety of others.
If convicted, he faces up to 6 months in prison and a fine of up to $2,500.
According to the police investigation, on Thursday, between 10:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., police received reports from two vehicle owners, stating that the rear windscreens of their cars had shattered for unknown reasons.
Their vehicles were parked along Foch and Desker roads when the incidents happened.
Through extensive on-scene investigations and ground inquiries, officers from the Central Police Division managed to establish the identity of the suspect.
On Saturday, at around 2:20 a.m., the man was arrested along Hougang Avenue 3.
A bag of stones was found in his vehicle and was seized evidence.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect had tossed stones out of his vehicle in several instances other than on Thursday.
