An elderly woman who took a cross-country train ride to complete her bucket list of visiting many states was violently raped by an Amtrak employee, according to police in Montana.

The Amtrak Police Department said that they have arrested 60-year-old Charles Henry Pinner of Detroit, Michigan, after being accused of raping the 68-year-old woman and biting her body.

Pinner was found guilty of sexual intercourse without consent and aggravated kidnapping at the 15th Judicial District court in Wolf Point.

Judge David Cybulski sentenced Pinner to serve 50 years in jail.

According to the police investigation, the elderly woman of North Carolina went on a cross-country trip to fulfill her bucket list of visiting as many states as possible.

As the train was passing through Wolf Point, Pinner entered the woman’s cabin.

The woman was sleeping at the time.

Pinner held her down and raped her.

He also bit her all over her body.

The woman later checked herself into a hospital, where she reported the rape.

The woman is suing Amtrak, claiming that the company failed to protect her from one of their employees.

The woman told the court that she is still suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

In court documents, the woman claimed that Amtrak should be held responsible because they hired Pinner despite being convicted of felony robbery and drug trafficking.
