A drug dealer was caught selling drugs and being in possession of weapons forced police to stop an interview by farting at them, according to police in Missouri.
Kansas City police said that they have arrested 24-year-old Sean A. Sykes Jr. after being caught with a large amount of cocaine.
Sykes has been charged with possession with intent to sell cocaine and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to the criminal complaint, police initiated a traffic stop during which they found a suspicious backpack in his car.
Officer opened the backpack and found drugs and weapons.
One of the weapons was reported stolen.
Sykes was taken to the police station and was questioned.
Sykes denied knowing anything about the drugs and weapons.
As detectives asked him questions in the interrogation room, Sykes repeatedly farted.
Detectives told the court that they had to end the interview due to the farting.
The case was closed before going to trial.
Several weeks later, Sykes was pulled over again.
While searching his vehicle, police found marijuana and cocaine.
They also found a stolen gun.
Sykes was booked into jail, pending a bail hearing.
