A passenger on an AirAsia flight was shocked when a flight attendant threatened to rape her just because she complained about a dirty toilet, according to police in India.

Bengaluru police said that they have arrested three flight attendants, who were identified as Sanmit Karandikar, Kaizad Suntoke, and Jitin Ravindran, after being accused of harassing the 28-year-old woman.

All three suspects were charged with one count each of wrongful restraint, sexual harassment, and gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman.

According to the police investigation, the woman arrived at the Bengaluru airport on Friday.

The woman told police that when she tried to get off the plane, she was stopped by the flight attendants.

The three suspects ordered the woman to apologize to the flight crew for complaining about the dirty toilet.

When the woman refused, the suspects warned her that they will take her off the plane and rape her.

A spokesperson for AirAsia denied the allegations, saying that the woman was disruptive throughout the entire flight and verbally abused the flight crew.

The woman later said that she was treated like a terrorist and a flight attendant touched her inappropriately after she complained about the dirty toilet.
