A man who was angry with his girlfriend stripped her naked and burned her alive, according to police in Mississippi.

A nationwide manhunt was launched on Wednesday after Willis’ girlfriend was found burned alive on Highway 11 in Pearl River County, Mississippi.

According to the police investigation, 46-year-old Stacy Mitchell Frank had been doused with gasoline, set on fire and left beside the road to die.

Luckily, she was found and transported to a hospital for treatment.

Frank was the transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center Burn Unit in Jackson.

Frank remains in critical condition and will have skin graft surgery on Friday.

She suffered burns to her face, shoulders, and chest.

“Stacy will have her first surgery on Friday and there will be many more procedures to follow. She was the sole provider for her family. Frank is a single mother and grandmother who struggles financially,” Frank’s family wrote on GoFundMe.
