A tragic accident killed a young father and left two paramedics seriously injured, according to police in Michigan.
Michigan State Police said that the incident unfolded on Monday, at around 6:30 a.m., in Saginaw County.
21-year-old Dustin Sharp of Burt was driving his Chevy Impala to work when the Mobile Medical Response ambulance did not stop at a stop sign.
The ambulance struck Sharp’s car.
Sharp was taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The ambulance flew off a bridge and landed in the Misteguay Creek.
Two paramedics were injured.
They were taken to the hospital, where they are said to be in stable but serious condition.
Sharp left behind his fiancee and 1-year-old baby girl.
His fiancee is pregnant and is expecting to give birth to a baby boy soon.
