The man offered to pay $200 to volunteers for trying his new medical devices in his office in Provo, Utah.

So far, two women came forward and told police that 34-year-old Borzin Mottaghian tricked them into coming to his office, thinking he was looking for help in developing a new catheter.

He made the women sign a confidentiality agreement before performing physical examinations on them, during which time he allegedly took photos of their private parts and penetrated them with his fingers and an object.

Mottaghian was charged with felony counts of object rape and forcible sexual abuse.

According to his online biography, Mottaghian is a married father of three children, who owns two restaurants in Provo.

Mottaghian moved to the U.S. from Tehran, Iran, in 1990. He later enrolled in the U.S. Marine Corps. He and his wife are veterans.

Mottaghian is an actor with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. He played a role in the Oscar-nominated 2008 biopic Milk.
