A man was arrested at an airport after his wife reported him for having child porn on his computer.

The woman told police that she and her husband Matthew Coda, 47, of Menlo Park, California were undergoing adoption process when her husband mentioned that he had a criminal record.

When she demanded to know what he had been jailed for the Coda assured her that it was many years ago and no longer relevant.

She pushed to know the truth until Coda came clean about his arrest for possessing child porn. The wife reached out to a family friend who is a computer expert.

According to police, the friend found deleted child porn files.

The wife called the police and they obtained search warrants for his computer.

Detectives said that they found over 3,000 images of child porn and other evidence in the suspect’s computer.

Coda was arrested as he got off a flight at San Francisco International Airport. Police confiscated his cell phone and other electronic devices that Coda had with him.

He was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on a felony count of possessing over 600 images of child or youth pornography and is being held on $200,000 bail.
