Man tries to use religion to legitimize having sex with 14-year-old girlBy Emily Lewis 6:39 AM December 4, 2017
A man who thought he can outsmart police by using religion was busted.
29-year-old Vance Taylor of Daytona Beach, Florida, posted an ad online looking to have sex and get a woman or girl pregnant.
“Impregnate your daughter, sister, or wife,” he wrote in the ad, police said.
An undercover agent, posing as a woman with two young daughters, contacted Taylor.
The two communicated via email and text messages and Taylor expressed his interest in having sex with either one of the girls.
During their conversation, Taylor told the mother that he is going to use religion and claim he was setting up an arranged marriage between himself and her teenage daughter if caught.
When Taylor arrived at the prearranged location, officers were waiting to arrest him.
Officers found a knife on Taylor who according to police, said that he wanted to use it to kill the girl and her mother after having sex.
Taylor was charged with using a two-way communication device to commit a felony, using a computer to solicit a parent/guardian for consent, and traveling to meet after using a computer to lure a child.
He is being held without bond at the Volusia County Jail.
