UPS employee seen on video delivering package and later going back to steal itBy Emily Lewis 5:12 AM December 15, 2017
A woman released a shocking home surveillance video, showing a UPS employee delivering a package to her home before coming back to steal it.
Jovita Acute-Parker of St. Pete Beach, Florida, was waiting for an iPhone X to be delivered to her home.
The UPS tracking information indicated that it had been delivered but she did not receive the package.
Acute-Parker reviewed home surveillance videos and was shocked by what she saw.
The video revealed that UPS driver 47-year-old Jason Mohn delivered the package at 5:37 p.m. while wearing a UPS vest.
About two hours later, at 7:46 p.m., the video shows Mohn returning to the porch, without the UPS vest on.
He was still wearing the exact same top, pants, and hat.
The video shows Mohn hiding the package under his shirt as he quickly left the property.
He reportedly took the package back to the UPS warehouse and placed it among his personal belongings.
Acute-Parker notified UPS and a manager confronted Mohn. He allegedly admitted to the theft. He returned the package containing the iPhone and it was given to the victim.
Mohn was arrested for grand theft, according to a Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office report. He was also fired from his job.
