Nottingham police said that they have launched an investigation after 36-year-old Donna Buckley gave methadone to 9-year-old Ruby-Mai Bell.

Bell became very sleepy, and her eyes began to roll. That is when Buckley realized that something was seriously wrong.

However, she did not know about the severity of the issue until the pharmacist came banging on her door. The pharmacist told the mother that instead of antibiotics, the bottle contained methadone due to a mix up.

How To Get Your Partner To Lose Weight

Woman lost weight (illustration)
By: Michelle Parker

When you meet someone, the first thing you see is their looks.

This is why they say “love at first sight.”

Looks are important.

Although you probably fell in love with your partner due to many reasons such as their intelligence or good, fun-loving or caring nature, looks played a large role in your decision to be with them.

However, after you committed to the relationship and you are deeply in love with your partner, things change and your partner can gain weight.

Now, you want them to lose weight, but you don’t want to offend them by telling them that they look fat. What can you do?

First, it is important to know what changed. What caused your partner to gain weight.

If it is an emotional issue, then that has to be addressed before you can talk about losing the weight.

If your partner began eating a lot more after a loved one passed away, then you have to give the person a fair amount of time to grieve the loss.

Give the person a lot of emotional support so that they feel understood. After a while, things will settle and you will “have your partner back.”

If the person eats out of depression, then once again, your partner needs your love, emotional support and maybe professional counseling.

However, if your partner eats out of boredom or they just let themselves go, then you can help them without saying anything.

Many people feel that they will hurt their partner if they express their concern over their weight.

Here are some ways to encourage your partner to eat healthier and do more exercise without hurting them.

Be a role model. Eating healthy and exercising is good for you and your health as well.

Surprise your partner and take them on long romantic walks or bike rides. If you have young children, you can take them along in a stroller bike seat.

Use the walks to strengthen your relationship. Talk about happy things so that you both enjoy it and it does not feel like a chore.

Start shopping for more healthy foods and snacks. If junk food is in the house, it will be consumed. Cut up fruits and vegetables, and make it look appetizing. Leave the healthy food on the table and you should eat it.

After seeing the fruits and vegetables laid out nicely, your partner will likely grab some and see that the taste is not as bad as they thought.

It might not be easy for you to buy and prepare the healthy snacks or go on walks, especially if you are fit.

However, If you truly love your partner and you want them to lose weight it is very much worth the effort.

Once your partner eats healthier and exercises, they will begin to lose weight and feel better about themselves. Then they will have the willpower to pursue it by themselves without you pushing them to do so.

By: Mason White

(Scroll down for video) A police officer has been removed from the force after being caught producing and possessing child pornography, according to police in Texas.

U.S. Attorney Kenneth Magidson announced that the former law enforcement official who was taken into federal custody last week, has been ordered detained on allegations of production and possession of child pornography.

30-year-old Andrew Craig Sustaita, who resided in Spring, was previously a Harris County deputy sheriff, but is no longer employed there as a result of the charges brought against him.

A federal grand jury indicted Sustaita, on charges of possession and production of child pornography.

He appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Frances H. Stacy, who found that he was a danger to the community and a flight risk.

Stacy ordered him to remain in custody, pending further criminal proceedings.

In making that determination, Judge Stacy noted the characteristics of the defendant, the substantial prison sentence he potentially faces as well as the nature and strength of the evidence.

She found no condition or set of conditions that would assure the safety of the community and his continued appearances in court.

She also noted that the crimes he is charged with committing would constitute a crime of violence. During the hearing, the court was told that Sustaita has access to weapons, is dangerous and believes he is above the law.

The court heard that Sustaita allegedly used his position of trust to abuse at least two children.

The court heard arguments that he is facing at least 15 years in prison, and with his law enforcement training, he could be in a position to avoid capture and possible flee from the country.

According to the criminal complaint, Sustaita posted images to a known child pornography website that are believed to be child erotica.

Sustaita commented on other images on that same site.

The user name allegedly belonging to Sustaita, posted items on the Internet in various places, including a pay-to-play bestiality website.

Further information presented to the court included discussions of the amount and types of images authorities have discovered on two devices believed to belong to Sustaita.

The court heard that one video includes a young girl showering.

Other images show Sustaita placing his private parts on or near another known young girl's head while she appears to be sleeping, and others that include attempting to expose the girl’s private parts.

If convicted of the sexual exploitation of a child charge, also known as production of child pornography, Sustaita faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 and up to 30 years in federal prison.

He also faces an additional 10-year-maximum sentence upon conviction of possessing child pornography. The charges are also punishable by a $250,000 maximum fine.

Upon completion of any prison term imposed, Sustaita could also face up to life on supervised release, during which the court can impose a number of special conditions designed to protect the children and prohibit the use of the Internet.

Sustaita would also be required to register as a sex offender upon conviction.
