Parents were shocked to learn that a teenager was allowed to attend high school after he was found guilty of sex crimes.

Sadly, 16-year-old Maysen Melton reoffended and was arrested again on two dozen counts, including sexual assault, kidnapping, and child pornography.

A prosecutor told the court that four of the rape victims were his classmates at Shadow Ridge High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After being expelled from that high school, Melton was transferred to Palo Verde High School despite being a danger to students.

At the bail hearing, the prosecutor said that Melton tripped the victims or threw them to ground. He then forcefully removed their pants and raped them.

He took nude photos of the victims and then blackmailed them into having sex again.

He also forced them to send him more nude photos with threats of sharing the photos he had with schoolmates.

The prosecutor said the two of the victims became suicidal after their horrific encounters with Melton.

Despite being a minor, Melton is being charged as an adult and he faces life in prison because he is a repeat offender.

According to authorities, Melton has already gone through the juvenile sex offender program.

There were not many details released about that sex offense case since those court documents were sealed.

However, Chief Deputy District Attorney Kristina Rhoades said that Melton went through the “strictest” sex offender program in the juvenile court system for a prior crime.

He was under house arrest but he was allowed to attend the school where he is accused of raping his classmates.

Melton was released from custody after someone posted his $200,000 bail.
