A man who became famous for his role as Noah “Puck” Puckerman on the popular musical TV show Glee was found dead.

35-year-old Mark Salling of Los Angeles, California, was reported missing by family members after he disappeared on Tuesday morning.

His family feared that he hurt himself.

The Glee star reportedly became depressed after his arrest in December 2015. He was arrested after 50,000 child porn images were found on his computer and a thumb drive.

According to prosecutors, the photos included children as young as 3-years-old being sexually abused.

Salling pleaded guilty to child pornography charges and was awaiting sentencing. He was facing between 4 to 7 years in a federal prison.

Salling reportedly attempted suicide once before and told a judge that he was taking medication for depression.

An attorney for Salling’s brokenhearted family said: “Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment. He is survived by his mother, father, and his brother. The family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asked for their privacy to be respected.”
