A man who felt suicidal grabbed his girlfriend’s cat and submerged it in a bathtub full of water, according to police in Texas.

The Austin Police Department said that they have arrested 28-year-old Jonathan Wong after being accused of killing his girlfriend’s cat.

Wong was charged with one count of cruelty to a non-livestock animal.

He was booked into the Travis County jail and his bail has been set at $3,000.

According to the police investigation, Wong and his girlfriend lived at a home in the 9300 block of South 1st Street.

On Saturday, at around 7:00 a.m., police got a call from Wong’s girlfriend to report that he was being suicidal.

Police officers who arrived at the scene found a dead cat in the bathtub.

Wong explained that he took the cat and put it into a plastic container.

He then placed the plastic container in the water and watched it fill up with water.

Wong noticed that the cat was struggling to breathe but he did not care.

He took the plastic container out of the water after the cat stopped moving.

Wong confessed that he tortured the cat two or three times before by holding it underwater.

He also admitted to abusing another cat.
