Home of Former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton suffers damage from fire

The Secret Service confirmed that the New York home of Former President Bill Clinton and former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton suffered damage from a fire.

New Castle police said that they received an initial report of the fire on Wednesday, at around 2:50 p.m.

30 minutes later, police received an update that the fire was extinguished.

The fire department spent several hours at the home located at 15 Old House Lane in Chappaqua to make sure that the everything was in order and safe.

Hillary Clinton’s spokesperson, Nick Merrill, confirmed that the former president or his wife were not home when the fire broke out.

Merrill said that both Bill and Hillary are “okay.”

A Secret Service agent reported the fire and agents used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames.

A ceiling suffered major damage and will be repaired.
