Man arrested after he mistook bank drive-thru for Taco BellBy Tanya Clark 8:31 AM January 28, 2018
A man in Florida who was hungry drove up to a drive-thru window and demanded a burrito.
However, he was informed that he was at a bank drive-thru rather than the Taco Bell he wanted.
According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, a manager at the Bank of America on Mariner Boulevard called to report an impaired driver.
The manager told police that the driver was passed out behind the wheel of a blue sedan in the bank’s drive-thru.
After knocking on the window several times, the man awoke and asked for a burrito.
After being informed that he was not at Taco Bell, the driver, Douglas Francisco, 28, drove to the parking lot.
The officer carried out a series of field sobriety tests, which Francisco reportedly failed.
The arrest report indicates that Francisco had Oxycodone and Xanax in his possession and both were prescribed to him.
Francisco was transported to the Hernando County Jail and bond was set at $1,000.
