A man is fighting for his life and another man was arrested after an ATM blew up, according to police in Scotland.
The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. at a row of stores on Glasgow Road in Clydebank.
Police were called to the scene after an ATM at Premier Stores blew up. It sent a 51-year-old man flying into the air and the blast caused store windows to shatter.
An ambulance rushed the 51-year-old man to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he is said to be in critical condition.
Surveillance videos of the incident showed a 48-year-old man, who is believed to be an accomplice, running from the scene.
Police have arrested the 48-year-old man in connection with the incident.
Inspector Fiona Macarthur said that the police are investigating the incident, but so far, authorities believe that the suspects were trying to steal the ATM when it exploded and injured one of them.
