A man who was desperate to avoid getting arrested offered to perform sex acts on a male police officer in exchange for his freedom, according to police in California.

The Redwood City Police Department said that they have arrested 34-year-old Kevin Adkins after being accused of exposing himself to people and police officers.

In court, Adkins pleaded to bribery of a police officer, indecent exposure, and attempted car theft.

A judge sentenced Adkins to 90 days in jail and 3 years probation.

He will also have to register as a sex offender and get treated for his drug addiction.

According to the police investigation, on Sunday, at around 7:30 p.m., a pizza delivery man was sitting in his car on the 1500 block of Sierra Street.

Adkins approached and entered the vehicle.

He then pulled down his pants and asked for a ride to the Safeway supermarket.

The pizza delivery driver escaped and called the police.

A few hours later, Adkins approached a dog walker on Woodside Road near Oxford Street and asked for a cigarette lighter.

He then pulled down his pants and exposed himself.

The dog walker escaped and called the police.

Police officers who arrived at the scene found Adkins with his genitals exposed.

He appeared to be under the influence of meth.

While being taken to the police station, Adkins offered to perform sex acts on a male officer in exchange for his freedom.

At the police station, Adkins pleasured himself in front of a male police officer after being asked to provide a urine sample.
